Anant Supermarkt — Shipping Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2025
1. Overview
We deliver orders placed at anantsupermarkt.de to addresses in Germany and to EU countries. For shipments outside the EU, customs, taxes and import duties may apply and are the recipient’s responsibility. We aim for clear, timely shipments and full compliance with EU and German distance-selling rules. (See Delivery Times & Right of Withdrawal sections below.)
2. Processing & cut-off times
-
Orders are processed Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays.
-
Cut-off for same-day processing is 14:00 CET for in-stock items; orders placed after this time are processed the next working day.
-
If an item is out of stock or pre-order, we will notify you with an expected dispatch date. German case law requires a clear delivery date for pre-orders—vague terms such as “coming soon” are not sufficient.
3. Delivery times
-
Germany (domestic): typically 1–3 working days after dispatch.
-
EU (cross-border): typically 3–7 working days after dispatch (depending on country and carrier).
-
International (non-EU): delivery times depend on destination and customs; we will show an estimate at checkout.
Under EU distance-selling rules, if no delivery time is expressly agreed, the seller must deliver within 30 days of purchase. If we cannot meet the agreed delivery time, you will be offered a new reasonable delivery date or the right to cancel the order.
4. Shipping costs & free-shipping thresholds
-
Shipping charges are calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Online sellers must provide clear information about shipping costs up front.
-
Typical options we offer: Standard parcel (tracked), Express (tracked, faster), and Local pickup (where available).
-
We may offer free standard shipping for orders over a specified cart value; if so, the threshold will be displayed on the site.
5. Tracking & delivery attempts
-
Most parcels include tracking and a tracking link will be emailed after dispatch.
-
Carriers usually attempt delivery twice; if unsuccessful, parcels may be returned to the depot or to us. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for timely collection from depot points if requested.
6. Lost, damaged or incorrect goods
-
Inspect parcels on receipt. If the parcel appears damaged, please refuse delivery or sign “damaged” and notify our customer service immediately.
-
For lost or damaged shipments sent with tracking, we will open a carrier claim and — where the carrier is at fault — either replace the goods or refund you.
-
For non-tracked shipments we recommend contacting us promptly; we’ll investigate and propose a solution.
7. Returns, refunds & right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
-
EU consumers (private customers) have the legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods (the withdrawal / “cooling-off” period), for any reason, and obtain a full refund of the purchase price. The right of withdrawal and information obligations must be clearly communicated to the buyer.
-
If you withdraw, we will refund the purchase price and the standard delivery costs (i.e., the cheapest delivery method offered) unless we explicitly offered a more expensive delivery at your request. Refunds are processed after we receive the goods back or after you provide proof of return shipment (whichever occurs first).
-
Return shipping costs: Unless we state otherwise, customers normally pay the return shipping costs. We may provide pre-paid return labels for convenience (subject to terms).
-
Exceptions / non-returnable items: Per EU/German law, some items are excluded or have special rules (e.g., perishable goods, sealed hygiene products after unsealing, custom-made items). Where the right of withdrawal does not apply, this will be clearly stated at the product page.
8. Perishables & food hygiene
-
Fresh or perishable foods are shipped with appropriate packaging. Because perishable items are time-sensitive, they are excluded from the standard right of withdrawal once the seal is broken or if consumed/opened (we will state this on product pages). We take extra care packaging food for safe transit.
9. Packaging & producer obligations
-
We comply with German packaging laws (e.g., LUCID / Verpackungsgesetz) for obliged packaging and registration where applicable. Businesses placing packaged goods on the German market must observe producer obligations; we ensure our packaging is registered and recyclable where required.
10. Customs, VAT & import duties (international shipments)
-
Orders shipped outside Germany/EU may be subject to customs clearance, VAT and import duties. These are charged by the destination country and are the buyer’s responsibility. We will declare the shipment value accurately on customs paperwork.
11. Payment & refunds
-
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of acceptance of return (or receipt of proof of dispatch, if earlier), unless otherwise agreed. Some payment providers may take additional time to reflect refunds on your account.
12. Customer service & contact
If you have a question about an order, tracking, or returns, please contact:
-
Email: amttradegmbh@gmail.com
-
Please include your order number in all communication.
13. Limitations & liability
-
We are liable for non-performance or defects according to statutory provisions. For shipping issues caused by the carrier, we will assist with claims. Our liability for slight negligence is limited as permitted by law.
